Getting here

The Aeolian Islands are located just off the coast of Sicily and can be reached in different ways, through a scenic Mediterranean journey.
Here’s how:

Plane: Fly into Catania or Palermo.
Both airports offer numerous international and domestic flights, making your trip easier.

Train: From there, you can reach Milazzo, the main port for ferries to the islands.

Ferry: From Milazzo, take a ferry or hydrofoil to Lipari.
During summer, there are also direct connections from Palermo.
